Committees & Chairs

Involvement with a committee is the best way to get the most out of your SMPS membership while becoming acquainted with other members. While providing a service to others, committee involvement is the perfect opportunity to promote your firm, gain leadership skills, and advance in your career. In addition, committee work is fun and rewarding!

Program Committees

The program committees are responsible for organizing industry specific programs and events involving industry leaders and public officials.

Other Committees

Sponsorship: The Sponsorship Committee members solicit sponsorship for our organization through opportunities with our monthly and educational programs.
Chair: Tina Maag, SMW Architects LLC

Membership: The Membership Committee maintains and enrolls new members in the SMPS chapter, handles program registration, and works closely with SMPS national.
Chair: Jeffrey Lynch, Turner Construction Company

Public Relations: The goal of this Committees is it to increase the awareness of the SMPS Pennsylvania Programs. The committee is responsible for sending out press releases and meeting notices, and maintaining a media list.
Chair: Anne Miller, Reynolds Construction Management, Inc.

Education: The Education Committee provides marketing-focused educational programs to members and non-member in the A/E/C environment. The Education Committee focuses their educational programs around the six domains: Marketing Research; Marketing Plan; Client and Business Development; SOQs/Proposals; Promotional Activity; and Information, Resource and Organizational Management.
